I’m looking forward to the coming of my winter holiday. In order to have a good time in the vacation, I have made a plan for it.

On Christmas morning, the children wake up very early. Some even turn on the light at two o'clock, and most of them are awake by six o'clock, and the young ones play while the dinner is prepared.
At about one o'clock in the afternoon, the Christmas dinner is brought in. The turkey or chicken is quickly eaten. Children search in their Christmas pudding for new coins which are hidden in it.
The rest of the day is full of games and eating until the happiest of all Christmas holidays comes to an end.

今天是“八一”节，学校组织我们去边防站慰问解放军叔叔。

话罢，我不禁感觉有点惭愧包围于左右。无疑，我对这一重大的节日的理解是那样的肤浅。我关了电视，走上了阳台，眼神望着仍在努力工作的人们——对啊，这的确是重大的节日，然而，它的庆祝方法万万不是中秋节、端午节等这些节日去喜庆，节日固然是要庆祝，但是，民众的劳动不也是一种对军人的庆祝吗?它已给了军人无价的支持。那么在军人的节日里，军人们仍在工作，仍在为大众而不辞劳苦，那不也是一种对事业的付出?而这种付出正是对军人这伟大的形象的升华，难道说军人们在这么一个节日里没有好好地度过吗?
