当我第一眼看到这句名言时，脸不由自主地红了，因为它让我想起一件自己因为不这样做而摘到的苦果子。这句话简直是针对我的缺点所写。
那是一次钢琴会课之前，我的一首曲子还没有练好，我只顾陶醉于另外一首曲子的优美旋律。妈妈提醒我：“练练别的曲子吧！”而我皱了皱眉头，说：“等会儿再练！”这，本来是早上就计划练熟的曲目，我一拖再拖，到中午曲子的熟练程度还未见长，可我却想：“怕什么？中午我不睡觉，练一会儿不就成了吗？”可到了午休时间，我略微想了想，还是睡十分钟吧，不休息休息怎么行？可这一睡就睡了一个小时。醒来之后，我慌忙打开琴盖，准备拿那首不熟的曲子的谱子，可转念一想：“那几首怎么办？我得顾全大局，弹弹看熟练不熟练！”于是，手便伸向别的曲谱。等我“检查”完才去理会那首曲子，可供我练琴的时间所剩无几，我竭尽全力，可这次败在了时间脚下。结果肯定是受批评。回家的路上，我就埋怨自己：“你真是的，怎么不先弹那不熟的曲子？”
看了这句名言之后，我感受颇深。我把它作为自己的座右铭，目的是让我早晨来到学校，就能看见这句话，把它所带给我的启示牢记在心：一切目标要按计划完成，不能浪费时间。带着这句话给我有启示：我便开始了一天的“征程”。当我又要“旧病复发”的时候，总会望上它几眼。这时，座右铭就仿佛变成一位老师，教导我：“不要拖拖拉拉、浪费时间！”我这时就像打了一剂“抗费时药”，又抓紧一分一秒的时间，按规定的章程进行。
“要迎着晨光实干，不要面对晚霞幻想。”这就是我的座右铭。我会把它带给我的启示牢记在心，用它激励自己改正缺点！
